A Front End Engineer by trade. I enjoy the 5 C's in my life: Creativity, Computers, Coding, Corgis (Yes, I have two and they're such cuties!) and Cooking... well, there could be a few more to this list. Javascript is what I mostly do on a day to day basis.
Born and raised in Honolulu, HI. Graduated from Wallace Rider Farrington High School in 2007 as one of the eight valedictorians. Continued my studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated in the fall of 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science. I started my career as a Java developer but realized my passion for front end development and design. Throughout the years, I've been at various companies doing frontend work with a large focus on design and developing reusable component libraries. I'm currently at Shef, building out the platform for home chefs to sell home cooked meals.
Working on something cool. Stay tuned!

While growing up, it was always fun to watch my mom make cupcakes. We've always made them from boxed cake mixes but as I got older, I started trying out recipes from scratch and adding fun and random designs. In 2013, I won 1st place in the Cupcake Challenge at the Hawaii Women's Expo with my Snickerdoodle Cupcakes!
At the height of the 2020 pandemic, I expanded my love of baking from cupcake to making tarts. Instead of making designs using fondant and frosting, I got creative with the ingredients to make intricate designs.
I mainly bake cupcakes but have started experimented with larger (layered) cakes, applying some techniques I've learned. Still a work in progress but hope to be making more soon!
When travelling, I enjoy city and landscape photography. Anything from aerial views, architecture, to street life. I like to capture the essence of living in these cities.
